With Nokia Maps on your mobile device, you can browse maps of more than 150 countries, search locations, plan routes for free, and even view a simulation of the route. If you would like Nokia Maps to give you clear voice and visual guidance turn-by-turn, just upgrade your application with the extra voice-guided navigation service. To access this service you also need built-in GPS, or an external GPS module.
The powerful navigation capabilities of Nokia Maps guide you along the shortest or quickest route from A to B, with voice guidance and 3D map views. Navigation is an extra service which needs to be purchased prior to use and is valid for selected regions and periods of time.
The purchase process is made very easy on your mobile device. Select Options > Extra Services > Add navigation > Purchase, and then:

When you have purchased the service you can download voice guidance. Select Options > Use this place > Navigate to > Download voice guidance > Yes. Now you are all set to let Nokia Maps lead the way with voice and visual guidance:
When you use full navigation for the first time, you are prompted to choose a language for voice guidance. The voice guidance files are then downloaded.
In the full navigation map, the route is displayed clearly. The arrows show the direction and your GPS position. Turns are displayed in the upper left corner and spoken by the navigator.
You can also browse the map while navigating and choose a new destination if you change your mind. You can use these features to make your journey easier and get you there. Select Options and from the following:
When calculating the route, your routing settings are taken into account. Voice-guided navigation is not available in the pedestrian mode.
