Transfer photos and videos from iPhoto to your Nokia device

In order to view the Flash content, you need to have Macromedia Flash Player installed on your computer.
You can download the latest Flash Player for free from Macromedia‘s website.

Before you begin, make sure that you selected "Enable iPhoto Folder Transfer" during the Nokia Multimedia Transfer setup. If you did not, click the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon in your menu bar, select Device settings..., and check the box next to "Enable iPhoto Folder Transfer."

  1. Open Nokia Multimedia Transfer and iPhoto.

  2. In iPhoto there will be a folder for your Nokia device.

  3. Use iPhoto to create one or more albums. Add the desired photos and videos from iPhoto into the albums you created. Locate your Nokia device folder in iPhoto, and move the albums you wish to transfer into the device folder.

    You may also opt to transfer all photos that have been imported into iPhoto from your Nokia device back to your Nokia device. This option will also include pictures that you have imported from previous sessions. Make sure that you selected "Enable iPhoto Transfer for photos taken with this device" during the Nokia Multimedia Transfer setup to transfer imported images back onto your Nokia device. If you did not, click on the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon in your menu bar, select Device settings..., and check the box next to "Enable iPhoto Transfer for photos taken with this device."

    Note: smart albums are also supported by Nokia Multimedia Transfer.

  4. Start the transfer by:

    a) connecting your Nokia device to your Mac. The camera icon next to your Nokia device name indicates that your Nokia device is currently connected. Any new content in the device folder will be transferred automatically after connecting. If you need assistance, please see the section connect to your Mac,

    or

    b) if your Nokia device was already connected, click on the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon in your menu bar and select "Start Transfers." The Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon will flash while content is being transferred. You can follow the transfer progress by clicking the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon.

  5. When the transfer is complete, the icon in the menu bar will stop flashing and a notification will be displayed on your screen.

  6. On your Nokia device, go to the Gallery to view the transferred photos and videos. When you transfer photos to your Nokia device with Nokia Multimedia Transfer, they will be resized into smaller files, saving space in your Nokia device’s memory for other files, such as new photos captured by your Nokia device.

    Note: Your Nokia device may not support all video formats supported by iPhoto. Supported video formats will be encoded for your Nokia device during transfer.
